Strips local government of the right to prohibit unhealthy energy resources. HR1191 (2021-02-02)
HB 1191 strips local government of the right to prohibit unhealthy energy resources and would restrict state funded universities’ boards from adopting policies on clean energy investments. It further weakens the authority of local governments. Passing this law would show that the legislature is beholden to large special interests. It undermines public health. Contact your state representative and tell them you oppose HR1191. Ask them to vote against this bill.
